Perot Museum

Phil took a day off of work last week so we could take the kids to the new Perot Museum or Nature and Science on a (less) busy weekday. Well...it wasn't less busy because there were a million field trips, but the kids had a GREAT time. As did their parents. We bought a membership, so we will definitely be heading back again soon.

I tried to get him to pose with me...he was too excited to go in!

 Interactive LED light wall:

Racing the Olympic sprinter. He would have done this a million times if there hadn't been such a long line.

We spent almost two hours in the special section for kids under 5. Here, Shea got to meet a raccoon.

And Lucas played with blocks, attempting to build the Dallas skyline:

Shea could have played with this felt board and the flowers for HOURS. Seriously, she LOVED it. (I may or may not be making her a felt board for her birthday!)

And Lucas LOVED doing these huge dinosaur puzzles. We did all of them. Twice.

This was the look when another kid tried to give him some advice:

More fun in the Children's Section. I didn't get pictures of them digging for dinosaur bones in the sandpit, but that was a big hit, too!

Mr. Independent at the water table. He had his own project going and wasn't interested in playing with any of the other kids. He was the same way at all the other centers, too. My poor little introvert.

He can't wait to go back to see the dinosaurs again!
