As you can tell, though she hadn't quite started crawling yet (she started about a week later), she is MUCH MUCH more squirmy for her pictures these days. But squirmy and SMILEY, so we take it!
Seven month Shea has two teeth and is working very hard on the two uppers. She has pretty much given up on baby food and would much rather eat whatever comes off the big peoples' plates. This is fine except for the fact that she can't yet feed herself those tiny bites, so we end up feeding her by hand, which takes too long, and she is starving. She still loves to have her lovies and holds them while she falls asleep. She loves to "talk" and "sing" and does so at the top of her lungs. She is sitting up quite well on her own and is close to crawling. She still has VERY blue eyes. (Crossing our fingers that they stay!) She chews on everything within her reach, and is super fast at grabbing things. She did really well on her first long car trip - to El Campo! She would rather eat her hair bows than wear them, much to Mommy's chagrin. She is obsessed with Mommy's necklaces.
Overall, she is a very happy baby who continues to greet everyone with a huge smile. When she gets mad, she gets VERY mad, but is generally easily comforted. We love her lots and are enjoying seeing her personality come out more and more each day.
