Last spring we purchased a family membership to the Heard Nature Museum near our house. At Christmas, they have an event called the trail of lights where they light up the half mile trail with Christmas lights, serve hot chocolate and have live music. We thought Lucas might enjoy it this year, so we called his buddy Lyra (and her parents) to see if they wanted to join us. After a yummy dinner at Petra (the BEST!), we headed over. Lucas and Lyra had the best time with each other. They RAN the trail TWICE. Which was great, but the dads who had to chase them and the pregnant mom and mom carrying a 7 month old were WORN OUT :) I didn't get a lot of pics since it was so dark, but I liked these:
