Zoo

Lucas randomly requested that we go to the zoo last week. And, since the weather was nice and we had nothing else going on, I packed the kids up in the car and headed on out there. It was a gorgeous day, and we had a great time checking out all the animals, most of whom were out enjoying the sunshine, too! Shea thought everything was fascinating...I think it was her first trip to a zoo since she was an itty bitty baby when we went to San Antonio last summer. Lucas enjoyed it for about an hour and then got bored and just wanted to play at the playground. (Then, he got wet at the playground and proceeded to whine that he needed to take his pants off...). Mom thoroughly enjoyed herself, but forgot how hard it is to push that double stroller all over tarnation for several hours!  Whew!  It was a (fun) workout :)  I think we will be putting off another trip until it is cooler, but I love it every time I go!
