First Blastball Practice

And so the sports begin...

Lucas is playing Blastball this spring. It is like mini t-ball (if there is such a thing). The kids hit a soft ball off of a tee and run to the one and only base, which HONKS when they step on it. The other teams fields the ball and yells "BLAST" when they get it. Technically, if you hit the base before they get the ball, you score. But no one keep score or even pays attention to the other team, so it's really all just fun. (And funny). Phil is the official coach (or...wrangler, you might more accurately say), so we had the first practice at a park by our house. Lucas was so excited to wear his new hat and play baseball with his friends. His big buddies Lyra and Ryder are on the team, along with three other boys. Practice was total chaos, but lots of fun!  Here's to our first of many sporting activities with our little athlete.
