Blogger Problems
Ok, guys. Every time I try to upload photos to a post for the past few days, my Internet Explorer shuts down. Anyone know what is going on? Until then, I am saving up lots of posts just waiting on cute pictures...

Uh-Oh!
Lucas and Shea were playing at their art table the other day. I heard yelling from Shea, walked in and saw this:
She had climbed up all by herself onto the stool, gotten stuck, and scared herself to death. Good mom that I am, I ran to get the camera before getting her down. (Hey - I had Lucas stand behind her so she wouldn't fall. That counts for something, right?!?)
I have a feeling this girl will be crawling out of her crib early, just like big brother. Lord help me!
Don't worry! She was happy and smiling (and snotty) just a few seconds later!

Muffins with Mom
Last week was Muffins with Mom at Lucas's school. Lucas was so excited for me to go to school with him! So, as hard as it is to get everyone dressed and out the door with Shea in tow, I happily did so, knowing that the days of him actually wanting me to be places with him are few! Breakfast was a selection of tons of tiny bite sized muffins, which I thought was great...that way I could taste four different ones :) We all enjoyed our brief morning together, but Lucas was more than eager to run off to class at 9:00....he didn't even stop to say goodbye :)

Lucas was so exited about the "color Cheerios". Those would be Froot Loops, son. I guess we've never seen them before. |

Big Boy Swing
Well, it's official. Lucas is a big boy :) We took down his baby swing in the backyard last weekend and put up a big kid one. He LOVES it. Now, we just need to figure out this whole "pumping" thing. (And stop growing up so fast, little boy!)

Blocks, Blocks, Blocks
As he rapidly approaches three years old, we are really starting to see Lucas's mechanical side emerge. (If you have met his Daddy, this is absolutely no surprise). He has been very into building and contructing with blocks lately. The other day, he built a ship, and I was so impressed I had to snap a couple of pictures. (He always builds block towers on our Wii Fit. I have no idea why!) I thought the golf flag as a sail was an especially nice touch. I am sensing a lot of Legos in our future!

Gone Fishin'
While he as visiting for Shea's baptism, Grandpa took Lucas down to our little pond to show him how to fish. I wasn't there for the adventure, but Phil reports that Lucas was very interested for about 3 seconds and then decided it would be quite fun to try to catch a duck with his pole. Hmmm. Maybe next year...

I Will Wrap Her, Mommy!
Lucas got into a pile of my ribbon the other day and had a great idea to wrap Shea like a present.
Shea loved all the attention for big brother, and he was quite proud of the result.

Baptism Day
Sunday February 24 was a special day for us because Sheaffer was baptized! We waited a bit longer than with Lucas because we had a hard time finding a good weekend around the holidays when family was able to make it into town. Phil's parents and older brother were able to make it for the weekend, so we enjoyed spending time with them and celebrating the occasion.
We weren't allowed to take any pictures during the ceremony, but boy do I wish we could have captured some of it. Shea was awesome and didn't cry at all. She looked at Tim with the HUGEST eyes when we carried her up and down the aisle. Lucas managed to steal the show from his sister, however. He quickly spotted himself on the big screen at the front of the church and spend the entire time we were up there dancing and making faces at himself in the "mirror". SIGH. I'm sure she will steal his spotlight someday, too :)
After the service, we treated everyone to breakfast at Spoons in Downtown McKinney and headed home to open gifts. We are very thankful for our family and for our sweet, sweet Sheaffer June!

So cute! I am in love with the onsie dress I got off of Etsy. And the headband I made :) |
Not sure what to make of the sanctuary at church. Usually she is hanging out in the nursery. |

Everyone in! And none of the kids are looking... |

Happy Birthday to PHIL!
And...as many pictures as I took of Valentine's Day, I managed not to get ANY of Phil's birthday! Ack! Terrible wife, right here! We had great birthday celebrations, though. I was super proud to actually surprise Phil with Dallas Stars tickets and a new Stars shirt the weekend before his actual birthday. He and I got to have a nice dinner alone at Cafe Malaga, one of our favorite tapas places, and headed downtown for a great hockey game and night out. The Stars even helped out by winning for us!
The night before his actual birthday we had a family dinner at a local Italian place, and we celebrated on the 16th with a Dinner Club dedicated to all Phil's favorite meals! We enjoyed seeing our friends and laughing the night away.
We love the world's best husband and Daddy and wish him an AMAZING 34th year :)
