Baptism Day

Sunday February 24 was a special day for us because Sheaffer was baptized! We waited a bit longer than with Lucas because we had a hard time finding a good weekend around the holidays when family was able to make it into town. Phil's parents and older brother were able to make it for the weekend, so we enjoyed spending time with them and celebrating the occasion.

We weren't allowed to take any pictures during the ceremony, but boy do I wish we could have captured some of it. Shea was awesome and didn't cry at all. She looked at Tim with the HUGEST eyes when we carried her up and down the aisle. Lucas managed to steal the show from his sister, however. He quickly spotted himself on the big screen at the front of the church and spend the entire time we were up there dancing and making faces at himself in the "mirror". SIGH. I'm sure she will steal his spotlight someday, too :)

So cute!  I am in love with the onsie dress I got off of Etsy. And the headband I made :)

Not sure what to make of the sanctuary at church. Usually she is hanging out in the nursery.

White dress, front of the church. Someday this will be a wedding picture!

Everyone in!  And none of the kids are looking...

Flashback!  Lucas with his godparents at his baptism :) Becky...your hair is so light!

After the service, we treated everyone to breakfast at Spoons in Downtown McKinney and headed home to open gifts. We are very thankful for our family and for our sweet, sweet Sheaffer June!

Lucas and Ella...besties!

Shea ate an ENTIRE plate sized pancake. Seriously. The child can EAT.
