Lucas has been LOVING his swim lessons this summer. (So much so that we are continuing in the fall!) With two weeks left in the summer session, he is able to go underwater (holding coach's hands for 5 seconds and swim about 3-5 feet underwater on his own. He still needs to work on putting his eyes down into the water. I think once he grasps that, he will be off like a shot. He has great kicks, but has a hard time keeping them near the surface because he pulls his head up out of the water. He has NO FEAR of the water and willingly tries everything he is asked to do. I finally remembered to grab my good camera a couple of weeks ago and got some great shots of him in the water.
