Lucas has really started talking a lot more lately, and I wanted to be sure to document his new words as they come along. So...at just shy of 15 months, the words he uses regularly are:
Mama
Dada
Gulk (Milk)
Uh Oh
Stuck
Duck
Beh (Bear...his lovey)
Dat (That...whatever he is pointing to)
WoofWoof or Pup (for dogs)
Bah (Ball)
Nack (Snack)
Dunk (when playing basketball)
Duke (any time he sees basketball on tv...hehe)
Burp
Boo (Book)
Stick (he likes playing with the pool sticks)
He also has a very specific word for crayons/coloring that I can't figure out how to write :)
Although he doesn't say them, he also knows and can point to most of his major body parts, which is a fun game. I am amazed every day at how much he understands of what I say to him. There's a lot of complex understanding going on in that little brain of his!
Such a big boy! He'll be using sentences before I know it!
Don't forget about the basketball-related words. He knows how to say "dunk" and something that closely resembles the word "Duke" any time he sees a basketball game on TV.
