Myrtle Beach Day 1

Well, I was finally able to get my photos off the new camera card I bought (technology...uggg!). So, the next few posts will be from our family beach trip to South Carolina last month. My family (the Bresslers) have been going to the same resort in Myrtle Beach since I was a little kid. Since my parents are leaving the East Coast to join us here in Texas (woohoo!), we decided one more trip with MY kids was definitely in order.

After checking in to our awesome condo, we immediately headed down to the beach for an evening stroll. This was Shea's first experience of sand, and, as I expected from my dirt loving girl, she thought it was amazing. Lucas had been asking every day for weeks when we were getting to the beach, so I just ignored the fact that he was wearing regular clothes and let him go to town. He got drenched and was wearing the biggest smile the entire time. Totally worth it.

While the kids played, I opened up the lens on my camera and started shooting the amazing sky in the background. I didn't even have to edit most of these shots. So. Beautiful.
