Shea is FIVE months!

So, obviously, blogging has landed at the bottom of my to do list lately. I promise a BIG catch up post this week! (For all three of you readers). In the meantime, here is my big five month old:

Shea is getting so big!  She is sleeping through the night consistently and napping well during the day. She has started on solid foods and is doing okay with them. Her favorite by far is squash, but she also eats green beans, carrots, pears, plums, carrots, peas, and oatmeal. She is also fascinated by anything that goes in mom and dad's mouths, but she will have to wait a bit longer to try all of those foods.

She is rolling everywhere and trying SO HARD to crawl and keep up with Big Brother. (Lucas crawled at 5 1/2 months, so she just might be right there with him. We shall see.) She loves singing and music of all kinds and is starting to talk to us a lot more. She still loves soft things and has to hold onto some kind of squishy lovie to fall asleep. She has a beautiful, huge smile that lights up a room and she loves to shine it at everyone who pays attention to her. It is so fun to see her personality starting to emerge. I can't wait to see what the next few months have in store!

As always, here is her side-by-side with Lucas:
