My child DRINKS salsa.  Seriously, it is his most favorite thing to eat. Such a Texas boy!

First Popcicle

Lucas got to meet the ice cream man for the first time this summer...we got him a popcicle and he thought it was great. The stick might have been even better than the sweet, though :)

Woefully Behind...

I am woefully behind on my blog posting, so get ready for a whole boatload! I am still wading through all the pictures I took in Destin, so in the meantime I have some other daily things to catch everyone up on. 

We finally completed our counter and backsplash remodel in the kitchen. (Okay...almost finished. We still have to touch up the paint). Here are some shots of the completed backsplash, which we LOVE!

It really brightens up our kitchen...and can I tell you how much I LOVE my new granite countertops? A lot. Seriously :)
